Inheritance of information across generations

EVO routines have been developed that manage particle properties across generations to provide information inheritance.

A variety of physical forces is available for EVOs that affect particles (visualization of smoke, vapour or coarser particles like seed and rocks). They can also affect object deformations. The physical forces include gravity, wind, turbulence, magnetic fields and more. Different physical forces can interact in their effects on particles and objects. EVO routines have been developed to adjust physical forces and incorporate their effects in an environmental system.

Using particle systems for visualization of diffusion processes

In this video we create two particle systems within a container that is subdivided into two compartments by a semipermeable wall. Using different particle sizes we can visualize osmosis.
